The bungee laces are a lifesaver for my daughter, who's still figuring out how to tie shoes properly. She can slip them on in seconds with the strap and they stay put while she runs around at recess. Light enough that she forgets she's wearing them.

My son actually puts these on himself now, which is a small miracle. The flexible sole lets his feet move naturally during play, and they're light enough he forgets he's wearing shoes.

The bungee laces and strap mean my daughter can put these on herself in seconds, and they're so light she forgets she's wearing them. Great little shoes.
