Wore these through a muddy creek crossing and my socks stayed completely dry thanks to the waterproof membrane. The rock guard underfoot saved my arches on a rocky descent where I'd normally feel every jagged edge.

The knit debris collar keeps trail grit out perfectly, and the rock guard gives me confidence on sharp, uneven terrain without adding bulk. They're surprisingly light for such a rugged hiking shoe.
